Customer Reviews: Fluorocarbon ?August 31, 2010 David Blain First off I bought Heavy stuff, 25 lbs test. I always use heavy line and don't care what the Pros say, I have fun and catch fish.
Second heard it was hard to tie, and for the heavy line it is pretty much true. Find a good Knot and you should be OK.
Holds it shape too well (at least in the beginning). If you use Spinning Reels, I think you should forget this as your line.
I will stick with the Heavy Braided that easy to work with and use the Heavy Fluorocarbon for Leader.
I bought a crimping tool and made up a few Fluorocarbon Leaders, and they work great.
Heavy Fluorocarbon is like invisible cable, great for leaders.
